The Chakchiuma Chapter joins the nation in celebrating Constitution Week, established by the DAR in 1955. Candy Hony, Chairman. Activities include:

• City Proclamation naming Constitution Week in Greenwood

• Library Display in the front bookcase at the Greenwood-Leflore Public Library

• Poster Contest for area schools and the library

• Constitution Posters hung at the library and all schools

• Constitution Bookmarks distributed at schools and the library

• Constitution Coloring Books & Crayons given out at the library and school kindergartens

• Book Donation — a copy of The History of the Constitution donated to the library
